Created for the true beginner, this low-stress course has been designed to reduce intimidation for new firearms users.  It will provide general guidance regarding ranges, etiquette, safety, and provide an introduction to pistol operation and the basics of pistol shooting.
There’s no pressure to shoot live fire unless you choose to.
And there’s always room for questions.

• Practice fire with a simulated munitions gun (does not satisfy requirement for live fire certificate).

Gun rental package available, $45.  Package includes gun, holster and 50 rounds of ammunition for use during course.  When registering, in comments, let us know you want to reserve a gun rental package.

You’ll spend the majority of class indoors learning the material and basics of shooting.  Then, for those who want to live fire, you will proceed to the outdoor range to shoot.
Course fee includes range fee.

Participants must be 18 or older. A valid US photo ID is required at registration. All students will be required to sign a waiver for this course. Registration will be in the training building. Upon entry to the facility, turn left and park in front of the tan building with the green roof.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations less than 14 days before class will result in a forfeit of $30 from registration fee.
Cancellations less than 2 days before class will result in a forfeit of $50 from registration fee.
No refund for no-shows.
