$119.99  Gun safety is essential.  Perfect for the true beginner, this low-stress course has been designed to reduce intimidation for first-time firearms user.  It will provide general guidance regarding ranges, etiquette, and safety. It also will provide an introduction to pistol operation and the basics of pistol shooting.

• Introduction of a Basic Pistol Stance
• Understanding Proper Grip
• Sight Picture and Sight Alignment
• Trigger Pull
• Practice fire with a simulated munitions gun (does not satisfy requirement for live fire certificate).
• Optional live fire exercise

Equipment to bring:

• Pistol (rentals available for $25/day)
• Magazine (included with rental)
• Holster (optional)
• Eye protection
• Ear protection
• Brimmed hat
• Closed toe shoes
• No low-cut shirts
• 50 rounds of ammo (optional)

Gun rental package available, $45.  Package includes gun, holster and 50 rounds of ammunition for use during course.  When registering, in comments, let us know you want to reserve a gun rental package.

You’ll spend the majority of class indoors learning the material and basics of shooting.  Then, for those who want to live fire, you will proceed to the outdoor range to shoot.
Course fee includes range fee.  Ammunition sold separately.

Participants must be 18 or older. A valid US photo ID is required at registration. All students will be required to sign a waiver for this course. Registration will be in the training building. Upon entry to the facility, turn left and park in front of the tan building with the green roof.

Cancellations less than 14 days before class will result in a forfeit of $30 from registration fee.
Cancellations less than 2 days before class will result in a forfeit of $50 from registration fee.
No refund for no-shows.
